The Black Country is situated in the middle of England to the north and west of Birmingham. It includes the towns of Stourbridge, Lye, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Wednesbury, Walsall, West Bromwich, Brierley Hill, and Halesowen.

Worcestershire Industrial Archaeology & Local History Society
The WIALHS was founded back in 1971 when an inaugural meeting was held at the Victoria Institute Worcester and our President Bill Gwilliam was one of the founder members.
