The company was formed in October 1900, and originally called Robert Allen, Mumford & Co, when Allens brought out Mumford & Combe's Royal George Brewery in Kidderminster. The name was shortened in November 1903. It was taken over by Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries Ltd in December 1928. |
